What You’ll Be Doing : Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst, Operations Finance plays a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis and strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for leading analysis and providing actionable insights to optimize operations and support business growth.
Lead the development of financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision‑making and margin growth.Partner closely with Operations Senior Leadership and cross‑functional teams to understand business drivers and provide high‑quality financial analysis.Lead key components of the budgeting and forecasting processes.Lead and / or support the financial integration of new acquisitions and developments.Share expertise and actively support the development of the finance team.Lead and / or support process improvements and internal control enhancements.Support month‑end close and reporting, including proactive analysis of results to identify risks and opportunities.Lead and / or support compliance reporting, including planning, preparation, and submission of required reports and filings.Provide guidance to operating units to ensure consistent application of accounting policies, organizational standards, and internal procedures.Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial, personal, and resident data.Perform other related duties and special projects assigned.Who you are :
Post-secondary education in Finance, Business, Commerce or related discipline.Chartered Professional Accounting Designation or working towards completion preferred.5+ years’ experience in full-cycle accounting and / or financial planning and analysis position.Previous experience in long-term care or health care industries is considered an asset.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.What you need to know :
