Job Description Job Summary:
As a member of a highly motivated, dynamic team, you will be working on analyzing, designing and deploying world‑class software and intelligent solutions focused on a wide range of equipment in the industrial automation field.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with a team of developers through stages of development including user requirement gathering, software architecture & design, programming, validation & testing, and deployment.
Work on projects ranging from mechatronics applications with real‑time controls and diagnostics to cloud and on‑prem software tools, including integration with robotic assembly lines, manufacturing equipment and Industry 4.0 edge devices & sensors.
Operate in a fast‑paced, agile environment while tackling complex technical problems.
Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers, demonstrating leadership and project ownership.
Create and deploy data pipelines through existing and new procedures.
Assist with software product documentation and test execution.
Help identify critical paths and dependencies between project activities.
Participate in weekly agile meetings reviewing progress and upcoming work.
Collaborate with Data Scientists to support data acquisition, contextualization, and storage.
Education:
Currently pursuing a post‑secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent, specializing in Mathematics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical/Software/Systems/Computer Engineering.
Required Skills:
Proficient coding with an emphasis on readability and end‑user focus.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication.
Interest in cloud‑based and on‑prem/edge computing architectures.
Data analysis and statistical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication.
A willingness to continuously learn and thrive in a fast‑paced team.
Knowledge of industrial equipment and automation.
