Instructors are required in the School of Academic Upgrading and Development at the Tenth Street Campus to teach in the English Language Summer Explore Program.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students enrolled in the English Language Summer Explore Program at Selkirk College, including a communications course and an experiential learning seminar.
- Provide a focus on communication skills as well as Canadian culture and language

Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred
- Three (3) years of English as a Second Language teaching experience. Preference is given to candidates with adult ESL teaching experience
This is a non-regular, part-time (95%) position covering a leave, commencing July 1, 2026, and ending August 4, 2026, or upon return of the incumbent. Salary and Benefits are in accordance with the BCGEU Collective Agreement. The salary range is $2,763.30 - $4,428.06 bi-weekly (at 100% appointment) and is based on qualifications and experience.
