Title: Design Researcher – Security / Identity Access Management Domain
Location: Fully Remote/ Canada
Contract Length: 1 Year Contract
Start Date: May 25th
Pay Rate Range: $60-$85/hr CAD
Clearance Requirement: Secret Clearance Required
We are seeking a Design Researcher who ideally understands the Security and/or Identity Access Management (IAM) domain to support upcoming initiatives in this space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and conduct primary research activities including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and workshops.
• Analyze research findings to identify trends, insights, pain points, and opportunities for improved user experiences.
• Conduct secondary research focused on industry trends, competitor analysis, and user experience strategies across various jurisdictions.
• Support research operations including participant recruitment, screening, scheduling, onboarding, and compensation coordination.
• Maintain and organize research repositories, documentation, templates, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product designers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate research insights into actionable recommendations.
• Present research findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience working within Security, Cybersecurity, or Identity Access Management environments.
• Strong background in UX research methodologies and human-centered design practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working in agile or product-focused environments is considered an asset.
