Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Web Project Coordinator for our Mississauga branch to support the quality, adoption, and continuous improvement of our digital platforms.

In this role, you will perform regular and production-release testing of our webshops and mobile apps, identify and document issues, and coordinate bug resolution with HQ teams. You will also build and maintain clear, user-focused documentation in Confluence, including feature guides, process documentation, release information, and troubleshooting content. This documentation will support internal training and help create customer-facing content that encourages digital tool adoption.

Additionally, you will coordinate small web projects from discovery through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live, ensuring that timelines, stakeholders, approvals, and communications are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Webshop and App Testing / Bug Reporting — QA

• Perform regular functional, regression, usability, and cross-device testing of webshops and mobile apps.
• Lead or coordinate production-release testing before new features, enhancements, and fixes are released.
• Execute test scenarios and document results clearly and consistently.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and raise bugs or issues for HQ product, service management, and development teams.
• Provide clear steps to reproduce issues, expected results, actual results, screenshots, videos, and relevant supporting information.
• Prioritize and communicate issues based on their impact on customers, internal users, business operations, and platform performance.
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure that issues have been fully resolved.
• Support UAT planning, coordination, execution, and sign-off.
• Monitor recurring issues and identify usability, functionality, or process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain testing documentation, test cases, checklists, and release validation records.

2. Web and App Documentation / Confluence

• Build, organize, and maintain a clear and user-friendly Confluence knowledge base for webshops and mobile apps.
• Document features, functionalities, workflows, business rules, user roles, known limitations, and frequently asked questions.
• Create and maintain internal user guides, training materials, quick-reference guides, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Translate technical or complex information into clear, practical content for business users and internal teams.
• Keep documentation aligned with platform updates, new releases, process changes, and business requirements.
• Establish consistent documentation standards, templates, naming conventions, and page structures.
• Work with HQ teams, business stakeholders, and subject-matter experts to validate the accuracy of documentation.
• Support the preparation of release notes, feature announcements, onboarding materials, and other adoption-focused communications.
• Identify documentation gaps and proactively recommend new content based on support requests, testing results, and user feedback.

3. Web Content Integration

• Coordinate small web and app projects from initial discovery through planning, development, UAT, launch, and post-go-live follow-up.
• Define and track project activities, timelines, dependencies, priorities, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with HQ product owners, service managers, developers, and other technical teams.
• Work with Canadian business units and banners to gather requirements, confirm business needs, coordinate testing, and obtain approvals.
• Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders, HQ teams, and business users.
• Track project progress and follow up on outstanding actions, decisions, issues, and dependencies.
• Support business approval workflows and ensure that required launch activities are completed.
• Coordinate UAT participants, test scenarios, feedback collection, issue resolution, and final sign-off.
• Prepare and coordinate post-go-live announcements, documentation updates, training materials, and follow-up communications.
• Monitor post-launch issues and help coordinate stabilization activities and lessons learned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in web or mobile app testing, quality assurance, UAT, or bug reporting.
• Experience coordinating digital, web, software, or technology-related projects.
• Experience creating and maintaining documentation, knowledge bases, user guides, or training content.
• Familiarity with Confluence or a similar documentation and knowledge-management platform.
• Strong understanding of functional testing, regression testing, release testing, and issue documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional, technical, business, and international teams.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, JIRA, or similar project and issue-tracking tools.
• Familiarity with Web CMS platforms and digital content publishing workflows.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies, tools, and processes.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is CAD 50000- 70000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
