All Pro Door & Hardware Ltd., is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Electrified Hardware Consultant to support the specification, coordination, and implementation of electrified door hardware systems across commercial and institutional projects. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with experience in access control, low-voltage systems, and architectural hardware. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, installers, suppliers, and clients to ensure all electrified hardware components are properly specified, integrated, and aligned with project requirements and timelines.
All-Pro supplies architectural doors, frames, and hardware for both new construction and retrofit applications across Ontario, including high-rise residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and hardware schedules to identify electrified hardware requirements
- Recommending and specifying electrified hardware solutions aligned with project needs and code compliance
- Coordinating with general contractors, electricians, security integrators, suppliers, and internal teams
- Providing technical support to sales, project management, and installation teams
- Preparing and reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and construction documentation
- Ensuring compatibility and integration between door hardware and access control systems
- Troubleshooting electrified hardware and system functionality issues
- Supporting projects from design through installation and commissioning
- Maintaining accurate documentation and project records
- Staying current on industry trends and technologies
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 3–5+ years of experience in electrified hardware, access control, or related low-voltage systems
- Experience producing or reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and construction documentation for door hardware or electrified hardware
- Proficiency interpreting architectural drawings and door hardware schedules
- Working knowledge of electrified hardware components including card access systems, maglocks, electric strikes, and automatic door operators
- Proficiency creating or interpreting riser diagrams and related detailing for electrified hardware and access control integration
- Strong understanding of door hardware, electrified locking systems, and integration with access control systems
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to fire, accessibility, and life safety as they apply to doors and electrified hardware
- Fluent in English
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, building materials, or hardware distribution
- Certified Electrified Hardware Consultant (EHC) designation or actively working toward it
- Salary expectations within $65,000–$85,000/year
