About RRA Group Inc.
RRA Group Inc. is an FMC-registered NVOCC with established global carrier relationships and a growing presence in North American freight forwarding.
We are building a performance-driven sales team focused on real revenue growth — not activity metrics.
The Role
We are hiring a high-performing Senior Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to develop and grow business across North American import and export lanes (Ocean, Air, Road, Rail).
This is a pure sales role. You are responsible for building your pipeline, closing business, and managing your accounts.
What You Will Be Doing
- Prospect and acquire new B2B clients across North American import and export markets
- Build and manage your own book of business
- Sell multimodal freight solutions (Ocean FCL/LCL, Air, Road, Rail)
- Develop long-term relationships with shippers and import/export clients
- Stay informed on market conditions — rates, port congestion, and trade lane shifts
- Work closely with operations to ensure flawless shipment execution
Requirements (Strict — Must Meet)
- Minimum 3 years of direct freight forwarding or 3PL sales experience
- Proven track record of customer acquisition and consistent revenue generation
- Solid understanding of Incoterms, international shipping, and customs processes
- Experience selling Ocean (FCL/LCL), Air freight, and cross-border or domestic solutions
- Comfortable with cold calling, outreach, and full-cycle pipeline management
- Proficient with sales and prospecting tools (Apollo or equivalent CRM)
- Must be based in Canada
Candidates who have not directly generated new business will not be considered.
Strong Preference
- Existing customer relationships or an active book of business
- Experience in North America ↔ Asia trade lanes
- Exposure to NVOCC or carrier-side selling
- Bilingualism in French and English (significant asset for the Canadian market)
Performance Expectation
- Expected to build and manage a revenue-generating book of business within 6–9 months
- Generate consistent monthly revenue through new and existing accounts
Compensation
- Base salary + uncapped commission structure
- Transparent commission structure tied directly to shipment profitability
- Significant upside for strong producers
Why This Role Is Different
- Sell under credibility: FMC-licensed NVOCC — not a brokerage model. A real differentiator when speaking to sophisticated shippers.
- Operational backbone: Dedicated operations and back-office support. You focus on selling; we handle execution.
- No micromanagement: Results-driven environment with full autonomy over how you build your business.
- Profitable by design: We are not building a high-volume, low-margin sales team — we focus on profitable, long-term accounts.
- Real growth: Top performers will have the opportunity to move into leadership or trade-lane ownership roles.
