Seeking a highly experienced
Senior Java Developer
to join a mission‑critical engineering team delivering scalable, cloud‑enabled platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about engineering excellence, thrives in Agile environments, and brings deep experience across the Java ecosystem, messaging frameworks, and AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable backend applications using modern
Java and Spring technologies
Build distributed systems leveraging
JMS ,
Kafka , and event‑driven architectures
Develop and integrate search and analytics capabilities using
Elasticsearch
Create clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code following engineering best practices
Contribute to cloud‑native application development and deployment on
AWS
Implement and support
CI/CD pipelines
to automate build, test, and deployment processes
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams in an
Agile / ATDD
delivery model
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Communicate effectively and collaborate openly within a fast‑paced engineering environment
Required Skills
9+ years
of hands‑on experience with the Java technology stack.
Strong expertise in
Java, Spring, Spring Boot .
Experience with
JMS ,
Kafka , and asynchronous messaging systems.
Hands‑on experience with
AWS Cloud infrastructure and services .
Experience working with
Elasticsearch
or similar search and analytics platforms.
Strong
SQL / PL‑SQL
programming experience.
Familiarity with
CI/CD tools
and DevOps practices.
Experience working in
Agile teams
using an acceptance test‑driven development (ATDD) approach
Compensation The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $61,087 - $90,000 per annum.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

Compensation may include variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
