The Software Developer – CRM is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting CRM‑based web applications that comply with accessibility, security, and architectural standards. The role supports end‑to‑end application delivery, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and are delivered using Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure application solutions meet accessibility standards (AODA) and approved design standards
Design, develop, and maintain system design models, program code, and technical documentation
Ensure application solutions are implemented in accordance with approved business requirements
Research and assess options for technical design issues and contribute to solution decisions
Contribute to project plans, including work breakdown structures and effort estimates
Assist with data validation activities
Assist with and ensure unit testing meets expected functionality requirements
Support user acceptance testing and defect management
Ensure compliance with architecture frameworks, system standards, and Agile development methodology
Apply leading‑edge technologies and design criteria, including usability, security, and privacy
Perform knowledge transfer and documentation activities as required
Qualifications & Skills Public Sector & Domain Experience
5+ years of experience supporting healthcare systems such as Long‑Term Care systems, Electronic Medical Records, Hospital Information Systems, clinical assessment tools, and standards‑based reporting solutions
Knowledge of personal health information protection legislation and its application in system development (preferred)
Technical Expertise
10+ years of experience in solution development
Experience with privacy and security requirements for application development in a healthcare or regulated environment
Demonstrated knowledge of application design, security, and recovery procedures
Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies
Experience with information retrieval, reporting, unit testing, and application integration testing
Experience with one or more communication protocols
CRM & Development Skills
Experienced in developing on CRM platforms using components such as Lightning Web Components, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, Calculation Matrices, and platform data models
Experience integrating CRM platforms with internal applications
Strong understanding of security settings, platform limitations, and governor limits
Experience with data migration activities
Experience creating reports and dashboards
Experience using source control tools, branching strategies, and pull requests
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, preferably within CRM implementation projects
Comfortable working in Agile environments using epics, features, user stories, and story points
Familiarity with offline solutions and middleware platforms is an asset
