Job description
Elevate your career as a Senior Structural Engineer with AtkinsRéalis, focusing on the Canada region. This role emphasizes independent design, compliance with standards, and cross-team collaboration.

In this position, you will lead efforts in developing and assuring structural designs across various stages. With a Master’s in Structural Engineering or equivalent experience, you will apply your 7+ years of expertise in concrete and steel design. Your work will ensure building compliance, and you’ll coordinate closely with architectural and MEP teams to deliver safe and durable structures.

Key Responsibilities: • Execute independent design tasks under minimal guidance • Develop detailed structures from schematic designs • Ensure effective communication within the engineering discipline • Manage your schedule and assist junior staff tasks • Comply with company QA/QC procedures during projects

Requirements: • Master’s in Structural Engineering or relevant experience • Minimum 7 years in a design office environment • Proficient in design software like STAAD and ETABS • Knowledgeable in international standards (ACI, Eurocodes) • Strong communication and analytical skills
