Saltworks Technologies

is a leading Canadian cleantech company solving two of the world's most pressing industrial challenges: water sustainability and critical minerals supply. We design and build advanced industrial water treatment and lithium refining systems for some of the world's most recognized companies—in semiconductors, mining, automotive, and industrial processing. Key responsibilities

Work with the team to define the business case and requirements for AI agents before development begins.

Build, test, and deploy agents, ensuring security best practices and clear functional separation.

Investigate and deploy AI tools tailored to specific team and department needs.

Act as Saltworks' AI subject matter expert: models, frameworks, best practices, and risk management.

Deliver hands‑on training to help staff apply AI to their specific work.

Support integrating AI into Saltworks' enterprise software systems and process plant systems.

Own AI‑related data privacy, access controls, and security governance with IT.

Structure organizational data for AI ingestion.

Qualifications

A track record of delivering AI or automation projects end‑to‑end, with experience working across technical and non‑technical teams.

A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field.

Daily use of AI tools and a solid understanding of associated risks such as hallucinations and data leakage.

Hands‑on experience building and deploying AI agents.

Familiarity with AI libraries and communication protocols (e.g. MCP, SDKs, A2A).

Experience integrating AI with enterprise software systems (e.g. ERP or PLM).

A collaborative self‑starter who leads by doing and communicates with clarity and directness.

Bonus: proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
