Our client, a leader in industrial wireless control solutions, is seeking a Electro‑Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Electro‑Mechanical Assembly Technician you will be part of the manufacturing support team, supporting engineering, production, and quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electro‑Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
Pay Range: $35
Shift: Mon to Fri, 7:00am to 3:30pm
What's the Job?
- Assemble automated test jigs, fixtures, and prototype assemblies for production and engineering testing
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and basic assembly documentation
- Perform soldering of electronic components (primarily through-hole; some surface-mount as required)
- Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components with accuracy and consistency
- Perform wiring and cable assembly tasks, including routing, fastening, strain relief, and labeling
What's Needed?
- Technical diploma, certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field
- Entry to mid-level experience (1 - 3+ years) in electronics assembly, test, or manufacturing support
- Basic understanding of electronic components and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams (with guidance as needed)
- Hands-on soldering experience using standard soldering tools
