We are looking for a high-energy Process Engineer who possesses "dual-threat" engineering sensibilities—combining a deep understanding of mechanical systems with an aptitude for electrical and controls logic. In this role, you aren't just managing a process; you are optimizing it through data-driven decision-making and continuous learning.
The ideal candidate thrives in the dynamic atmosphere of a unionized manufacturing facility. You should be as comfortable troubleshooting on the shop floor alongside skilled trades as you are presenting technical deep-dives to senior leadership. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in CNC machining, a passion for quality systems, and the ability to build the working relationships necessary to move projects across the finish line.
You'll have...
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Min of 1 year experience in Manufacturing Environment.
- Technical Skills:Strong understanding of statistical methods and Six Sigma methodology for data-driven problem-solving.Familiarity with CNC machining processes and quality management systems.Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for data analysis is highly desirable.A "systems-thinking" approach that bridges mechanical components and electrical controls.
- Soft Skills:Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with union hourly employees and skilled trades.Strong "board room" presence with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to leadership.
- Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing or unionized environment is preferred.

This position is a salary grade 6-8 and ranges from $74,300-$166,200.,
