Senior Supply Chain Manager - Hamilton In this role, the Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations. This position goes beyond day-to-day execution and takes full ownership of planning, procurement, and overall supply chain performance. The role is ideal for someone who can lead, build processes, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.
While systems and automation support transactional tasks, this role focuses on oversight, strategy, and performance improvement, ensuring the supply chain is operating efficiently and effectively. Strong leadership, critical thinking, and a hands-on approach are essential.
Position Type: Full-time, permanent, in office
Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Location: Hamilton
Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000 (based on experience)
1. Supply Chain Ownership (Planning, Procurement & Logistics) Take full ownership of the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring alignment across all functions.
- Oversee demand planning, production planning, and inventory management to meet business needs
- Lead procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management
- Manage logistics and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
2. Process Improvement & Strategy Drive improvements and build scalable processes across the supply chain.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to reduce cost and improve service levels
- Develop and refine SOPs to support consistency and scalability
- Contribute to overall supply chain strategy and long-term planning
3. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Provide leadership and direction across the supply chain function.
- Lead and support team members across planning, purchasing, and logistics
- Partner with operations, production, and finance to ensure alignment
- Act as the key point of contact for supply chain-related decisions
4. Performance & Reporting Monitor and improve supply chain performance through data and insights.
- Track KPIs such as inventory turns, service levels, and supplier performance
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership
Necessary Skills & Experience - 5+ years of supply chain experience, within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in; Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field
- Proven experience in planning, procurement, and inventory management
- Strong leadership and ability to take ownership of a function
- Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Analytical mindset with strong Excel/ERP system experience
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
