We have 2 openings for a Key User - EWM. The positions are limited term 12‑month contracts.
Job Summary The Key User - EWM role supports the implementation of the new SAP S/4HANA ERP for the overall EWM processes (Warehouse processes), specifically activities linked to inbound flows, outbound flows, production staging components and raw materials and all inhouse internal movements and flows. The Key User is responsible for ensuring the ERP solution meets the business process defined by the BPO (Business Process Owner) and the process Experts (SMEs). This position reports to the Supply Chain department and also works closely with the BPO of the WM Stream.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Work Location: Onsite, 25 Wolseley Court, Cambridge.
Responsibilities The mission of EWM Key User is to represent the end‑users on the project scope. The Key User is responsible for assessing and verifying that the ERP solution properly addresses the target business processes defined by BPOs and SMEs, and for facilitating ERP knowledge acquisition and solution adoption by end‑users. This is a long‑term role requiring expertise on the usage of the system in the business and geographical area the key user is assigned to.
During the project, deployment or evolution phases of the ERP, the Key User responsibilities are:
Enable business process development and solution design: The key user provides input for the detailed design of the solution, helping to reduce the time to resolve possible business process issues.
Qualify and relay the users’ needs to maximize satisfaction and improve where needed.
Help express the change requests (business requirements to adjust the ERP solution).
Dive into the system to test it. The key user co‑builds the use cases with BPOs and SMEs, builds detailed scenarios to be tested, identifies the appropriate test data, and executes test scripts (including in‑process ERP reporting).
Give feedback on IT solutions provided (user interface, user experience).
Support and participate in SOP adjustments updates that may be needed.
Participate in IT validation activities (risk assessment, test script writing and execution).
Participate in data migration effort (data cleansing, preparing data for migration, and testing the results of the migration operations).
Creates / writes user manuals and training materials.
Organize and animate training sessions for end‑users (including new hires).
Participate in change management activities.
Provide Level‑1 support to the end‑users and input for Level‑2 support; create tickets for Level‑2 support as needed.
Qualifications Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics or other supply chain area in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Previous experience with SAP S/4 Hana, especially the EWM module.
Previous experience training end‑users on software / ERP.
Competencies
