Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools, Learning Services Department invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Student Services. This is a full time, continuing position, commencing with the 2026-2027 school year.
The Coordinator of Student Services is a key member of a collaborative system leadership team that supports the realization of the GSCS Student Learning Model. This role contributes to division-wide work aligned with Board Goals and Priorities, Division Areas of Focus, School Learning Improvement Plans, and Professional Learning Communities.
This position provides leadership across Student Services, with a particular focus on supporting schools in meeting the diverse learning needs of students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. The Coordinator works alongside school-based teams to strengthen inclusive, responsive, and equitable programming that supports student success, well-being, and belonging.
The Coordinator role calls for innovative, relational, and faith-filled leadership. Strong communication, collaboration, and team-building skills are essential, as is the ability to lead flexibly in a dynamic environment. Coordinator portfolios may evolve over time in response to emerging student and system needs.
Required qualifications and expectations for the position:
- Strong commitment to the ideals and principles of Catholic education
- Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
- Master's Degree with a focus on Special Education
- A demonstrated understanding of Quality Core Instruction and the GSCS Student Learning Model
- Demonstrated flexibility to prioritize and respond to the emerging social emotional needs of students
- Strong understanding of trauma invested practices
- Knowledge and application of culturally responsive, relational pedagogy
- Proven instructional leadership that supports inclusive and effective teaching practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and application of research-based instructional and assessment practices
- Demonstrated effective leadership in adult profession learning
- Strong interprofessional skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
