The Position:
We are currently hiring a Summer Student Data Management Specialist. Reporting to the Director, Donor Relations & Stewardship
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and clean up donor, volunteer, and prospect data in Salesforce to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Organize, update, and manage files and folders in SharePoint, ensuring proper structure and accessibility.
- Review, organize, and manage marketing assets (photos, graphics, documents), ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Conduct regular audits of data and digital assets to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with team members to standardize naming conventions, file structures, and data entry processes.
- Ensure high levels of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Support ad hoc data and asset requests as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma with some working experience in an administration role.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Computer literacy with emphasis on Excel, and knowledge on Microsoft SharePoint an asset.
- Attention to details and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to maintain effective relations with staff members and external contacts.
- Ability to work as part of a team, and willingness to perform a variety of support tasks.
- A Police Information Check, which includes a vulnerable sector search, is required (or is in process of being completed) prior to employment.
- A Child Intervention Record Check.
- Must be eligible for Canada Summer Jobs program funding (between 19 and 30 years of age, Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee Protection Status).
Other Working Conditions:
- Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.00
- This position is subject to government funding approval.
