General Manager Facilities and Environmental Services (70309762)
Full-time | Province: MB | Bonus AIP Eligible: Yes | Compensation: CAD 80,000 - CAD 90,000 per year
In this role you will oversee all Soft Services, Environmental Services, Grounds Keeping, Snow Removal, Administration, and Food Services functions for the assigned area or site.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, motivate, direct, and supervise front line and supervisory employees.
- Assign work based on client and service requirements; perform audits to ensure compliance.
- Schedule, dispatch, and prioritize work assignments; oversee special project cleaning assignments.
- Conduct safety checks, inspections, trainings, and investigations; report on safety-related tasks.
- Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop employees; manage performance, discipline, and training needs.
- Maintain inventory levels, manage consumables and equipment orders, and report inventory status.
- Participate in hiring and staffing for the area of responsibility.
- Implement environmental service programs, ensure compliance, and provide reports and recommendations.
- Develop and implement budgetary guidelines for all departments.
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary diploma or degree in operations or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Proven track record of hands‑on leadership driving operational excellence.
- 3–5 years’ experience in Soft Services, Environmental Services, or Food Services in a manufacturing environment.
- Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with training methods and proven success in training delivery.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Knowledge of GMP cleaning processes.
- Initiative, good judgment, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to develop and implement budgetary guidelines.
