This is not a high-volume transactional sales role. It's a consultative, engineering-supported sales position where curiosity, problem-solving, and customer education matter as much as commercial results.

What You'll Own

  • As a Technical Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for guiding customers through the entire solution selection process—from initial inquiry through quotation and order handoff.
  • You'll engage customers, channel partners, and representatives in meaningful conversations to understand their operating conditions, application requirements, and business objectives.
  • Working closely with Application Engineering and Design Engineering teams, you'll help configure and recommend solutions that address customer needs while delivering strong business value.
  • You'll prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and follow-up communications while maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and professionalism.
  • You'll manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customers receive timely information and support while maintaining accurate documentation within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Most importantly, you'll build long-term relationships by becoming a reliable technical resource rather than simply a product vendor.

  • You'll be especially successful if you bring experience in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, chemical process, or engineered product environments where technical understanding is critical to customer success.
  • Experience with RFQs, technical quotations, engineered-to-order products, or application-based selling will be highly valued.
  • A technical background in mechanical, industrial, or process-related fields is considered a strong asset.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, or a related customer-facing role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret customer specifications and requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to structured communication
  • Experience in maintaining accurate CRM and ERP records
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams
