Position: Maintenance Lead

Compensation: $80,000-$95,000 + benefits

What We Need We are looking for an experienced Millwright responsible for directly supervising and coordinating maintenance work groups by providing ongoing leadership and performance feedback to maintain the site’s Equipment, Systems and Building Services at a level that meets safety and regulatory compliance codes, ensuring no loss of production or products.
The Maintenance Leader will assist in the development and implementation of key documents (Project Plans, SOPs, Standards), provide technical recommendations (risk/benefit), manage preventative maintenance programs, oversee capital equipment, control maintenance costs, ensure equipment safety, and continuously improve uptime and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities - Prioritize work requests for Equipment, Systems and Building Services
- Lead the Preventative Maintenance Program and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure PMs and repairs are completed with full QA compliance
- Manage maintenance request system and track time, materials, and completion data
- Support equipment, systems, and building service upgrades and modifications
- Oversee fabrication of parts and equipment (internal and external)
- Manage suppliers, contractors, warranties, and maintenance quotes
- Develop and manage maintenance and capital budgets, reporting variances
- Lead spare parts inventory and maintenance department organization
- Conduct daily floor walks to assess equipment performance and identify improvements
- Support health & safety compliance and good housekeeping practices
- Drive continuous improvement in operations, quality, and equipment efficiency
- Manage maintenance team assignments and development
- Act as 5S Captain and ensure structure, audits, and compliance
Ideal Requirements - Industrial Millwright Mechanic license
- 5+ years in industrial plants or production environments
- Strong experience in maintenance leadership and project management
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Experience managing equipment upgrades, vendors, and installations
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems
- Hands-on, organized, and level-headed approach to leadership
