Your Role For us, the role of an audiologist goes beyond hearing aids: Raise awareness among patients about the impacts of hearing loss and inform them about possible solutions. Explain the results obtained during their hearing evaluation (audiogram). Present the available technologies for hearing solutions, specifying the possible outcomes depending on the chosen technology. Support and encourage the patient in their hearing health journey. As an audioprosthetist, you make a difference in people's lives by breaking the isolation caused by hearing loss. Member of the Quebec Order of audioprosthetist (OAQ). Salary ranging from $33.82 to $48.32 per hour depending on experience and skills. Remote area bonus of $4.80/hour. No experience necessary, recent graduates welcome. Permanent on-site position only. Proficiency in spoken and written French. Proficiency in spoken English.
