They are currently seeking an eDiscovery Paralegal to join their growing litigation support and technology team. This is a full-time, hybrid position, offering flexibility for remote work. Reporting to the eDiscovery Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting sophisticated litigation matters through effective use of eDiscovery technology, workflows, and project management.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a paralegal or litigation technology/analyst role, with strong hands-on experience using litigation document management platforms (Relativity strongly preferred)
- A Paralegal diploma from a recognized institution
- CEDS certification considered a strong asset
- Solid knowledge of the BC Supreme Court Civil Rules and experience supporting large, document-intensive litigation matters
Technical skills include:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
- Experience with Relativity, iPro, Worldox or NetDocuments, MS Teams, and Soluno (or comparable platforms)

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities:
- Lead and manage eDiscovery workflows across complex litigation files
- Provide technical support and training to lawyers and staff
- Oversee document collection, processing, review workflows, and production
- Mentor junior eDiscovery and litigation support staff
Litigation and eDiscovery support:
- Analyze pleadings to identify relevant custodians, date ranges, and document scope
- Coordinate document collection with clients and third-party providers
- Develop and refine search strategies, including keywords, filters, and date parameters
- Manage document review workflows, including de-duplication, tagging, and categorization
- Import and export data and troubleshoot technical issues
- Prepare document lists and productions for exchange
- Support discovery processes, including preparation of responses and document sets
- Assist with preparation of joint books of documents for trials and arbitrations (e.g., Redfern schedules, witness materials)
Additional responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of books of authorities and legal research (Lexis+)
- Record billable time and monitor file-related cost considerations
- Stay current on eDiscovery best practices through ongoing professional development

Compensation
