Job description

Marketing Specialist 12 Month Contract

Reports To: CFO

Location: (Barrie ON)

Collaborates With: Business Development Manager CEO and Sales Director

Objective

The successful candidate of this role shall provide data intelligence market insights and strategic collateral necessary to execute Prodomaxs Revenue Growth and Market Diversification Plan. You will be the creativity engine supporting our expansion beyond automotive sectors ensuring our market entry is backed by rigorous research brand positioning high-impact messaging and supporting our business development and sales efforts with strong materials and convincing marketing assets to clearly convey our brand and value proposition.

As a key part of the Jenoptik Group we are renowned for our expertise in welding and assembly systems for structural components in automotive and industrial applications. We are entering a pivotal stage of strategic diversification. To build on our strong foundation we are seeking a Marketing Specialist to translate our technical excellence into a compelling value proposition for new markets.

The Opportunity

Are you a data-driven marketer with a passion for industrial technology Do you excel at identifying market trends and turning complex engineering capabilities into door-opening solutions

This role shall be a key partner to our CFO and the Business Development team to help guide the future growth of Prodomax. By combining financial data with our engineering expertise you will identify potential customers where our custom automation solutions are needed most and create the marketing plan materials and brand positioning required to help us successfully find the right customers build trust in our brand and grow our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research in target industries to identify high-potential niches potential customer profiles and right brand positioning aligning with Prodomaxs technical competencies and unique value proposition.
  • Marketing Plan: Assist our CEO and CFO in creating and executing a marketing plan to support the companys Revenue Growth and Market Diversification Plan by providing marketing analytics competitor white-space analysis and ROI modeling for new market entries.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with the Business Development Manager and Sales Director to develop industry-specific pitch decks case studies and technical brochures that articulate how our automation solutions solve unique business challenges.
  • Lead Generation Infrastructure: Define and track Lead and Lag indicators to measure the success of market entry strategies. Manage and analyze CRM data to ensure the sales team is targeting the highest-value accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the bridge between our CFO (for budget/ROI tracking) the Sales Director (for sales pipeline health) and Engineering (for technical accuracy) to ensure marketing efforts result in closing new business.
  • Brand Positioning: Evolve the Prodomax brand from an Leader in Automotive to a Global Automation Partner managing tradeshows industry events and digital presence to attract interest from potential customers in new industry sectors.

Qualifications skills and abilities

  • Experience: 5 years of experience within industrial automation manufacturing or a B2B technical field in a senior Marketing role.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to analyze complex market data and translate it into actionable growth strategies.
  • Technical Aptitude: Experience working with engineers and the ability to grasp complex technical / automated systems to explain them to less technical audiences.
  • Financial Literacy: Ability to work with our CFO to plan and manage marketing activities within a budget understand and support accurate sales forecasting and developing the sales pitch for our cost/benefit positioning with potential customers.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in marketing Business Intelligence Engineering or a related field.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and project management skills and professionalism in communication and interactions at all levels
  • Software: Experience with implementing CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) data visualization software graphic design tools WordPress and professional presentation tools.
