Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As a Human Resources Business Partner you will work closely with a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support the delivery of people strategies and talent initiatives across the organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders helping translate business priorities into effective people plans that support performance engagement and organizational effectiveness. Through coaching collaboration and a consultative approach you will contribute to initiatives that strengthen employee experience and advance Vancitys purposeâdriven goals.

This is a Fullâtime Temporary role based at the Vancity head office and will report directly to the Director People Consulting. This role offers hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically youll be required to attend inâperson activities or events.

How Youll Make an Impact:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to midâlevel and senior leaders by providing strategic HR guidance aligned with organizational and people objectives
  • Coaching leaders on HR best practices decisionâmaking and approaches that foster accountability and highâperforming teams
  • Partnering with leaders to support organizational change initiatives and ensuring alignment with enterprise change frameworks
  • Using people and workforce data to identify trends assess needs and recommend strategies that enhance employee engagement and operational effectiveness
  • Supporting talent planning and development through succession planning career development and capabilityâbuilding initiatives
  • Leading or contributing to crossâfunctional HR projects that advance strategic priorities and improve employee experience
  • Providing guidance on the application of HR policies processes and tools while recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Managing complex employee relations matters including performance management in alignment with legal and policy standards and partnering with senior HR leaders as needed

What Youll Bring to the Team:

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources including experience in a businessâpartnering or consulting capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and advise leaders at multiple levels across an organization
  • Proven success implementing people programs that positively impact culture and employee experience
  • Strong ability to work crossâfunctionally within a large collaborative HR team
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or similar professional accreditation preferred
  • Excellent communication consulting and problemâsolving skills with the ability to navigate complex situations effectively

What Youll Earn:

This role offers a salary range of$108500 to $127700 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications skills previous experience and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program subject to program eligibility requirements.
