Northstar Organics is a certified organic 10-acre, mixed vegetable and berry farm located in Central Saanich near Victoria.
We grow a large variety of field and greenhouse fruit and vegetables, all for sale locally through farmers markets and to restaurants and stores in Victoria.
Field Crop Cultivation Staff , start day May 11, 18 or 25.
This work involves mostly field work such as preparing and seeding beds, seeding transplant trays, cultivation, and planting outdoor vegetable beds, as well as some greenhouse vegetable work such as planting, pruning, and trellising crops.
Work is 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. A four day work week is also possible.
Compensation to start is $20 to $22/hr based on experience, with modest wage increases through the season. We do not have housing available at the farm.
This is a full time, permanent position.
