Job description

Empire Homes is seeking a Director of Sales Operations. In this position you will drive sales growth, unify the customer experience, and support the company’s profitability. You will lead the sales process, use data for business decisions, and implement technology tools that support sales goals.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a sales and operations role, predominantly low‑rise residential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
  • Mandatory homebuilding industry experience with a track record of leading centralized sales operations and supporting multiple active communities.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Results‑oriented mindset.
  • Valid "G" driver’s licence; expected to drive to sites in Western Ontario (including Niagara, Brantford, Caledonia and Kitchener).

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategies aligned with Empire’s growth objectives across all active communities.
  • Optimize existing sales processes and ensure continuous improvement within operations, administration and on‑site sales.
  • Maintain quality and consistency of sales data; ensure all systems are optimized, including Newstar and Salesforce.
  • Analyze sales data to support and measure the impact of current sales and marketing programs.
  • Manage sales goals, projections and processes; develop strategies to achieve the sales goals.
  • Create and manage automated sales tools to increase process efficiency.
  • Implement and manage the sales force CRM tool to maximize opportunities and customer experience.
  • Champion a unified and consistent customer experience across all sales touchpoints.
  • Serve as the central point of sales operations data and intelligence for the division, leveraging and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data sources.
  • Provide incentive and promotion recommendations based on market conditions in collaboration with market research.
  • Monitor inventory levels at all communities and recommend future product/phase launches.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales administration team, approving all amendments to agreements, deposit extension requests, etc.
  • Oversee, coach, train and mentor a team of Sales Professionals and Sales Operations staff to improve response time, deal velocity, closing rates, forecasting accuracy and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain broker and agent relationships.
  • Plan broker events to build Empire’s brand presence in the marketplace.
  • Work closely with direct buyers, brokers and the external sales team.
  • Forecast and manage the sales operations budget.
  • Regular travel to sales offices and active communities is required.

Salary: $150,000 – $190,000 per year, plus participation in a short‑term incentive program.
