The Opportunity:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of Overnight Gas Bar Attendant at our Lagimodiere Gas Bar, located at 717 Lagimodiere Blvd in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This position will report to the Gas Bar Manager.
Essential responsibilities of the positions include the following:
Deliver world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient.
Educate customers and staff on the benefits of membership in Red River Co-op and encourage them to join.
Ensure the C-store is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.
Run fuel pumps and fill fuel tanks of vehicles with gasoline or diesel fuel to particular levels.
Assist customers with propane filling and exchanges.
Wash windshields and check fluid levels.
Operate a cash register, take payment from customers and provide change.
Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed. Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are to Co-op specifications, including cleaning of all equipment and display cases.
Observe safety measures and report hazardous conditions immediately to the Gas Bar Manager.
Follow safe front-line loss prevention practices and maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise or fuel from the site.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Availability to work overnight shifts between 11:00pm to 7:00am.
