Job description
Our client, a well-established manufacturer in Waterdown, is seeking a hands-on and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist (Contract, with strong potential for extension or permanent hire). If you are a self-motivated accounting professional with strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage high-volume AR functions, this could be an excellent opportunity. This role offers the chance to join a supportive and team-oriented environment while contributing to critical financial operations.
This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in Accounts Receivable, support ongoing financial processes, and contribute to the effectiveness of the AR function. You will play a key role in managing collections, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall financial operations within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage high-volume Accounts Receivable activities, including follow-ups and collections on outstanding invoices and open sales orders
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support cash application processes
  • Maintain and support AR processes and structure
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows
  • Integrate quickly into the existing team and take ownership of responsibilities
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, with strong exposure to AR processes and structure
  • Experience with ERP systems is required; familiarity with Epicor is an asset
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, in-person environment
  • Able to start right away
