Job description
Become a leader in mine waste engineering as a Principal Engineer. Manage complex projects, develop innovative solutions, and collaborate with experts globally while focusing on sustainability. As a key member of the engineering team, you will shape strategies for safe and effective tailings and mine waste management. Your role involves guiding technical teams, mentoring engineers, and contributing thought leadership to industry standards. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the market's confidence in resource management practices while ensuring effective closure planning. Key Responsibilities: • Lead engineering initiatives for mine waste projects • Design innovative deposition and closure strategies • Provide technical direction across multidisciplinary teams • Enhance client partnerships and market positioning • Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence Requirements: • 15+ years in tailings, mine waste, or related engineering • Advanced degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD) in relevant field • Required P.Eng. registration; recognized technical authority • Experience in risk evaluation and project delivery • Ability to guide technical directions across teams Join the forefront of sustainable mining practices, leveraging your expertise to create responsible and innovative solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
