Position Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, build, and scale robust, internet-facing enterprise applications. You will play a key role in building secure, high-performance services that support modern, distributed video management/delivery systems.
The client is located in Agincourt, Scarborough and the resource is expected to work out of the client office 3 times a week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable applications using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core
• Architect and optimize solutions using Microsoft SQL Server
• Develop and deploy applications using container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes or similar)
• Implement and support event-driven architectures using event streaming platforms
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical design reviews
• Lead code reviews and mentor intermediate/junior developers
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system observability and resilience
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 10+ years of experience in software development with C#/.NET
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining internet‑facing or public services, with a strong focus on security, scalability, and high availability.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (performance tuning, indexing, query optimization)
• Solid experience with containers and microservices-based systems
• Experience with event streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Event Hubs, or similar)
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,–$,. This role is an existing vacancy.
