Position Overview
RIMEX is seeking a motivated Junior Outside Sales Representative to join our Langley, BC team, to support our growing customer base. This position is entry level for someone looking to launch or advance their career in sales with significant opportunities for growth, advancement and development.
Extensive time will be spent learning about our company, our products and solutions and the industries we service through hands-on training. This role will work closely with our Sales Support team and Territory Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Territory Managers with preparation of quotations and general account management
- Participate in on‑site customer visits, including mine sites, industrial facilities, and service locations
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through proactive communication
- Identify new sales opportunities and assist with business development activities
- Prepare quotations and proposals in coordination with internal sales and operations teams
- Develop knowledge of all aspects of RIMEX’s business including logistics, operations, and customer service to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data using RIMEX business systems
- Learn and promote the full RIMEX product and service offering at appropriate margins
- Represent RIMEX professionally at customer sites and industry events as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Post‑secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a technical/mechanical field is an asset
- Previous customer-facing sales experience (any industry) is preferred
- Strong computer skills including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn field-based sales
- Strong organizational and time management‑ skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
