Business Systems Assistant - ERP Support

Salary: $52,000 - 62,000 per year

Requirements:

• College diploma in IT, Business Systems, or a related discipline
• Some experience with programming (HTML or similar)
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Capability to adhere to instructions and work autonomously
• Team-focused and reliable
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the role
• Basic knowledge of VBA is advantageous
• Familiarity with reporting or database tools is a plus
• Exposure to APIs is helpful
• Experience supporting small office teams is beneficial
• Familiarity with ERP or reporting tools can be advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Provide regular support and maintenance for the ERP system (Macola) under the managers supervision
• Assist with related systems, including reporting and database tools such as Crystal Reports, KnowledgeSync, and Microsoft Access
• Maintain reports and system-related data
• Execute basic SQL queries and data validations as needed
• Undertake minor programming tasks such as VBA or simple scripting
• Help in the upkeep of system documentation and procedures
• Offer daily technical assistance to a small team of 3–4 users
• Troubleshoot issues related to applications
• Assist with basic computer setups and minor networking issues with guidance from senior staff
• Escalate complex issues when necessary
• Support the maintenance of company websites including Shopify and other hosted platforms
• Resolve occasional website issues
• Update website content as required
• Assist with small technical or operational projects as directed by the manager
• Carefully follow instructions and document work performed
