Power BI Developer

About this position:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards.

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Perform data modeling and create complex DAX calculations to support data analysis.

• Connect to data sources, import, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.

• Implement row-level security and ensure compliance with data governance standards.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics and performance indicators.

• Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools.

• Stay updated on the latest Power BI features, trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Power BI development, including dashboard creation and data visualization.

• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.

• Strong understanding of DAX for calculations and measures.

• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Power BI certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.

• Experience in Azure

• Experience of ADF – Azure Data Factory a plus

• Experience with Azure Synapse a plus
