We are looking for a permanent Director, Tax to join our Finance and Strategy team in Saskatoon!

The Opportunity

• Lead corporate domestic tax, international tax, and transfer pricing compliance across all Canpotex entities and jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with global tax advisory firms and partner with local accounting teams and external auditors to deliver accurate, timely filings.
• Oversee corporate income tax return filings, assessment reconciliations, and installment calculations/submissions.
• Prepare and file required indirect/local tax returns (e.g., GST/consumption) and reconcile filings to accounting records.
• Maintain tax calendars, own tax accounting deliverables, including monthly tax accruals, deferred tax calculations, tax rate proofs, and related financial statement disclosure.
• Proactively monitor tax law changes and incentives; lead tax audits/reviews/examinations and coordinate responses with stakeholders and authorities.

You’ll Bring

• CPA Designation is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience, including at least 5 years at a senior level
• Completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course and taxation experience with United States, Singapore, Brazil, and/or China would be considered an asset.

• Commitment to Results: Reliable delivery against non-negotiable deadlines, driving completion of filings, payments, and reconciliations without compromising quality.
• Financial Acumen: Strong tax accounting and disclosure capability that ensures tax impacts are reflected appropriately in financial statements and assessments are reconciled to filings.
