Job Overview: GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Semi-Vac Operator to join our Valued Clients team at project sites in Edmonton, Alberta.

This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety in oilfield operations.

Responsibilities: Operate semi-vac trucks safely and efficiently in oilfield and industrial environments Perform hydrovac and fluid hauling operations in accordance with site requirements Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine equipment maintenance Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and client procedures Complete daily logs, safety documentation, and job reports accurately Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members Qualifications: Valid Class 1 Driver’s License (required) H2S Alive certification (valid) Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification Standard First Aid certification Previous experience operating semi-vac or similar equipment in oilfield settings Strong understanding of oilfield safety practices and procedures Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hydrovac, fluid hauling, or combo unit operations Additional safety tickets (e.g., Ground Disturbance, TDG) considered an asset Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Work Environment: Field-based role in active oilfield and industrial sites Exposure to varying weather conditions and physically demanding tasks Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Benefits: Competitive hourly wage up to $40.00, with overtime opportunities Camp or travel accommodations may be provided depending on project Opportunities for ongoing training and career advancement within GrizzlyTrek Comprehensive Benefits Package: We offer a robust benefits package designed to support the well-being of our employees and their families, including: Life insurance: $100,000 for the employee AD&D insurance: Matching life insurance with critical illness and cancer coverage Dependent life insurance: $10,000 for spouse, $5,000 per child Extended health care: Drug, hospital, hearing, orthotics, nursing, and more Paramedical services: Annual coverage for services like chiro, physio, massage, and mental health Vision care: Glasses, contacts, laser surgery, and exams Dental care: 80% basic/comp services ($2,500), 50% major ($2,500), $2,500 ortho for children Travel insurance: Up to $5,000,000 per incident for trips up to 90 days Call to Action: Apply now to join GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd.
