About Us:
The Yard Garden Harvest Project (YGHP) grows food in 7 neighbours' yards to provide local, community-grown produce to Little Mountain Neighbourhood House's Food Distribution Program. The YGHP is rooted in deepening connections by engaging with landowners and volunteers while growing food that benefits the soil, the pollinators and our community!
Our Mission:
We aim to foster a connected and empowered neighbourhood by growing and providing fresh, nutritious food to those who face food insecurity in our community.
Volunteer Perks:
- Weekly access to fresh food
- Access to seeds and transplants
- Summer events, parties and workshops
