The Opportunity

Aritzia is growing and our Marketing Business Finance team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for partnering with the business to drive profitability by producing insightful financial analysis to make informed business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in Aritzia’s future growth by providing strategic and innovative solutions to support the Marketing department’s business in achieving both short and long-term corporate objectives. The Role

As the Director, Business Finance, Marketing, you will lead the team to:

• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
• Be financial leaders in Marketing, partnering to drive profitability through marketing investment strategies, performance metrics, and campaign ROI analysis.
• Plan and forecast for Marketing in the short and long term in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives and strategies.
• Deliver simple, relevant, and timely reporting and insights to Marketing Leadership, enabling visibility into performance results and supporting decision-making.

The Qualifications

The Director, Business Finance, Marketing, has:

• Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in:
• Finance, Accounting, and Business Analysis in a marketing or retail environment
• Marketing performance management and/or revenue growth management
• Financial modelling, forecasting, performance reporting, and deriving insights
• Simplifying complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders
• Leveraging AI, advanced analytics, and reporting tools for decision-making
• A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
• The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
• A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value
• A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate

The Compensation

The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000-$200,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
