Salary range (but not limited to):
94,200 - 115,200Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

Accept, reject, endorse,renewor cancel policies following Intact underwriting guidelines and procedures, applicablelawsand regulations and subject to authority level as specified by underwriting manager.
Develop business opportunities and long-term meaningful relationships with our broker partners by providing legendary service.
Use negotiating skills tomaintainhealthy relationships within and outside the company.
Answer inquiries and make recommendations to brokers and underwriters through verbal and written correspondence.
Participate in broker visits, industryfunctionsand marketing events in support of broker relationship development.
Review underwriting reports and make recommendations asrequired.
Communicate changes related to product pricing, underwritingguidelinesand new products.
Support and mentor team members within Specialty Solutions as well as other divisions at Intact.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 5years experiencein Specialty Linesunderwriting includingbut not limitedtoCorporate,Financial, Construction,Technologyand Entertainment, Liability,Energy, Property, Agriculture,Transportationand/orBusiness Development.
Solutions-oriented with provenanalyticalapproach, sound judgment, and effective complex risk management driving profitable growth.
Builds professional, long-term relationships with brokers, customers, and internal partners.
Proactive communicator whoidentifiesneeds and negotiates tailored broker solutions.
Managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines whilemaintainingquality under pressure.
Demonstrates critical thinking, respects diverse perspectives, and collaborates cross-functionally as an effective team contributor.
