Radio Frequency Support Engineer (NPI & Production) for a full-time position focused on high-frequency antenna systems (above 24GHz). This opportunity is ideal for an experienced RF Engineer who thrives in a hands-on production environment and is passionate about pushing the limits of mmWave technology.
As an RF Support Engineer, you will lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and support production reliability, test execution, and failure analysis for next-generation antenna systems. You will play a key role in improving test yield, diagnosing complex issues, and ensuring high-performance standards in manufacturing.

Responsibilities- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for high-frequency antenna systems
- Execute RF testing and support production processes for systems operating above 24GHz
- Perform complex failure analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Analyze S-parameters (S11, S21) to distinguish between assembly defects and design issues
- Compare simulation data (HFSS/ADS) with real-world production results to validate performance
- Support test yield improvements using data-driven and statistical process control methods
- Work with high-frequency instrumentation (e.g., VNA calibration, signal integrity testing)
- Conduct OTA (Over-the-Air) testing, including use of anechoic chambers and antenna validation techniques
- Troubleshoot mechanical and interconnect issues affecting RF performance
- Ensure compliance with RF safety protocols and ESD handling requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and continuous improvement
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE required; MSEE preferred) with a focus on RF/Microwave or Electromagnetics
- 3-5 years of experience in RF/Microwave production or design environments
- Experience working with high-frequency systems (24GHz+ preferred; strong RF fundamentals required)
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu)
- Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as HFSS or ADS
- Strong understanding of transmission lines (microstrip, stripline, waveguides) and RF theory
- Advanced knowledge of signal integrity metrics such as EVM and ACLR
- Experience with VNA calibration techniques (SOLT, TRL, waveguide calibration)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for failure analysis and root cause identification
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and production data analysis
- Familiarity with antenna performance metrics such as G/T, EIRP, and beamforming
- Understanding of RF safety standards and ESD sensitivity
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada
