Project Coordinator
Are you an experienced Project Coordinator with a background in multifamily residential projects? We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Project Coordinator to support a multi-family residential project in Whistler, BC.
Reporting to the Senior Project Coordinator and/or Project Manager, you will provide technical and administrative support to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with the project team, consultants, sub-trades, and internal support staff.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture by supporting HSE programs and ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations
- Maintain project systems and documentation, including digital platforms, filing systems, cost tracking, and directories
- Coordinate project administration, including preparing and distributing RFIs, submittals, correspondence, and meeting minutes, and maintaining project logs and records
- Assist with project planning, including scopes, schedules, budgets, and subcontract procurement (bid collection, review, and clarification)
- Support financial processes such as invoice review, progress claims, and basic cost tracking
- Assist with change order management, including pricing coordination, documentation, and follow-through on approvals and contract updates
- Support project closeout activities, including collecting warranties, manuals, and turnover documentation, and archiving project files
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trades, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of related work experience on projects ranging from $5M-$20M for multi-family residential projects
- Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and current building practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to problem-solve using established processes and procedures
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore)
- Strong organizational and numerical skills, including experience with budgets, contracts, and invoice coding
- Clear and professional written communication skills
What We Can Offer You:
- Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 (flexible based on experience)
