Good teamwork skills and experience performing peer code reviews.

Must Have Qualifications: 8+ years of production-level experience in .NET (C#, .NET Core / .NET 5+, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework).

Expertise in Backbase digital banking platform integration and extension.

Proficiency in RESTful Web Services and APIs (JSON, XML).

Experience with Microservices architecture and unit testing using .NET testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest).

Hands-on knowledge of web servers and hosting environments (e.g., Kestrel, IIS, or cloud-native app services).

Familiarity with Git or similar source control tools.

Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and modern .NET messaging frameworks (e.g., MassTransit, MediatR).

Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.

Experience with SaaS platforms or Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA).

Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience in handling sensitive data security.

Good knowledge of SQL.

Nice to Haves: Experience with FinTech or working with financial services, credit unions, or banks.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Knowledge of TDD and Continuous Integration (CI) processes.

Awareness of OWASP best practices for secure code.

Experience with Hibernate or other persistence frameworks.

Strong database experience (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, NoSQL).

Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

Expertise in Backbase digital banking platform integration and extension.

Location This is a 100% remote, full-time position; however, candidates must be based in Canada.

Compensation The typical salary range for this position is: CAD $90K-$120K annually.

Salary offered will be based on skills, experience, and market data.
