Job Description: We are seeking skilled and motivated Instrumentation & Control Technicians to join our team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for a wide variety of works including construction, completions, commissioning, testing, and fault-finding of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities: • Strong instrumentation background and experience • Strong proven experience within construction/commissioning and start-up of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment • Conduct functional and performance tests to ensure systems meet specifications • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise and in a timely manner • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful project completion • Document test results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Qualifications/Experience: Mandatory • Red Seal Certification – Instrumentation and Control Technician (or equivalent Canadian certification) • Valid Canadian Electrical or Instrumentation trade certification (provincial or Red Seal recognized) • Valid safety training such as CSTS, WHMIS, or equivalent • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Highly Advantageous • Cert III Electrotechnology equivalent or Dual Trade Certification (Instrumentation & Electrical) • Hazardous Area / EEHA certification or equivalent hazardous location experience • High Risk Licenses (please specify) • HV Switching / Jointing experience • Previous FIFO experience • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven experience in the below sectors: • Oil & Gas Experience • Powerplant Experience • Gas Turbine Experience highly regarded • Infrastructure Experience Powered by JazzHR
