In overseeing our Dining Room Team, you will enjoy working in a fast paced, Team oriented environment. Your passion for Guest service and flawless attention to detail will combine to produce a seamless event with personalized attention.
*Please note this position requires open availability including evening & weekends*
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Carry out standards and procedures
· Monitor staff arrival & departure
· Assist servers during peek hours
· Supervise D.R. setup
· Responsible for group billing
· All opening and closing duties
· Ability to resolve guest and team member complaints
· Extensive Food and Wine Knowledge
· To ensure all opening and closing procedures are carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
· Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services.
· To ensure all equipment in the department is correctly used, maintained and properly stored and is always kept clean, that inventory preparation is carried out and ensuring department is running efficiently.
· To be responsible for any monetary transactions during shift.
· All other duties as assigned.
· Inspection of Dining Room
· Knowledge of daily specials
· Monitor stock on daily bases
· Assist with inventory control
Professional Requirements:
· Hotel and Restaurant Manager Course
· Communication skills written and oral
· Computer and monitory skills
· Able to recognize and respect customer and team member confidentiality
· Smart serve certificate

· Must be honest
Physical Requirements:
· Prioritize demands of Team Members, other departments and supervisors to meet all objectives.
· Balance demands of Team members in terms of hours worked versus shift priority and gratuity distribution.
