We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer with deep experience in distributed systems and hands-on expertise with modern AI technologies. In this role, you will lead the design and development of AI-driven proof of concepts (POCs) focused on enhancing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) outcomes—improving operational efficiency, reliability, quality, and cost optimization.
You will act as both a technical leader and AI subject matter expert, helping the team understand, adopt, and maximize the value of advanced AI models and tooling within production environments.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Innovation Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end development of AI-focused POCs within the SRE space , delivering measurable reliability, performance, and cost-saving improvements.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine the best tools, models, and architectures for given use cases.
- Document experimental findings, validate outcomes, and recommend next steps for scaling, enhancement, or adoption.
Technical Expertise & Knowledge Sharing
Serve as the team’s AI subject matter expert , advising on model capabilities, limitations, and optimal applications.Mentor and train team members on effective AI techniques, including prompting, evaluation strategies, and integration patterns.Create and maintain high-quality documentation, run knowledge-transfer sessions, and contribute to internal best practices.Back-End Engineering & Systems Design
Build, maintain, and optimize reliable, scalable back-end systems.Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems and microservices architectures.Collaborate closely with SRE, platform, and engineering teams to ensure systems meet operational standards and long-term reliability needs.Required Qualifications
8–10+ years of experience as a back-end or platform engineer.Proven experience building and maintaining distributed systems and microservices.Hands-on experience with Claude, Gemini, GPT models, and the Hugging Face ecosystem .Strong proficiency in back-end programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js).Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).Demonstrated ability to lead AI experimentation and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.#J-18808-Ljbffr
