We are growing fast and need another Operations Manager to join the team who can run the day-to-day operation , develop leaders, and hold the standard for quality and accountability.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Leading multiple departments and crews across several active projectsManaging project execution from planning through completionEnsuring crews have labour, equipment, materials, and support to succeedHolding crew leaders accountable to performance standardsHiring, coaching, developing, and (when needed) terminating employeesManaging schedules, job sequencing, and resource allocationReviewing job costs, timelines, and qualitySupporting estimating and job planning for upcoming workBuilding systems that improve efficiency, safety, and consistencyActing as the main operational problem-solver for your departments when things go wrongMinimum Requirements
5+ years experience in operations management, project management, or construction managementProven experience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience managing projects over $20,000Direct experience hiring, managing, and leading field employeesYou are comfortable making decisions that affect people and projectsStrong communication and leadership presenceComfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environmentPreferred Additional Experience
Background in construction, restoration, maintenance, or tradesEstimating or job costing experienceExperience with safety-critical or high-access workExperience developing supervisors or crew leadersProcess improvement or systems-building experienceCompensation & Benefits
