Role : Sr Visual Designer / Art DIrector

6 Month contract

Location : Downtown Toronto (Hybrid)

Job Description :

The Brand Innovation Lab (BIL) team with our client's Advertising team is seeking a multi-talented Art Director / Designer to create innovative, and bar-raising campaigns that drive business results for the world’s leading brands across Canada.

You're a Swiss Army Knife of a creative talent, who is just as comfortable ideating big concepts as you are rolling up your sleeves and executing highly-crafted design deliverables, across multiple digital channels.

You also have experience in UX and working with developers to build beautiful and intuitive micro-sites / landing pages;

you are also comfortable using all of the tools of the trade, including new AI platforms. You'll be working along side an energetic team of other creatives, developers, and project managers, while collaborating with sales teams, and internal partners within their music, Video, technology and Audible divisions.

Specific Responsibilities :

• Brainstorm big never-been-done-before concepts that leverage "The Amazon Canvas" (Prime Video, Amazon Music, Amazon Fashion, Amazon - Business, Twitch, Amazon Live, Audible, Alexa, OOH, etc)
• Design all brand campaign elements (from landing pages to boxes to pop-up events to hero banners)
• Design pitch decks and proposals, including high-quality mocks
• Present all work to senior clients and senior internal leaders at Amazon
• Participate in client outreach presentations, and workshops

Basic Qualifications :

• 5-7 years working experience within a creative agency environment
• Team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Self-starter who is customer-obsessed, and detail-oriented
• An online portfolio of work that demonstrates both conceptual thinking and highly-crafted design
• Expert working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma

Preferred qualifications :

• Motion Design experience in Adobe After Effects (or similar tools)
• Prototyping and wire-framing experience
• UX and UI Design experience
• 3D design
• REQUIRED SKILLS Has creative background but also the design chops.
• 3-D design experience is a huge plus, wizard effects to produce compelling videos, animations, etc.
• Some skill in UX design as well
• More of a Swiss Army knife role, jack of all trades.
• Years of Experience : 5-7 years working experience within a creative agency environment
• Degree or Certification : Don’t need a degree if they have the necessary experience. Portfolio says it all with their detailed experience.
