We are looking for a Shift Nurse (RN or RPN) who is comfortable providing care to our clients. Our next Shift Nurse will thrive in a culture made for caring where being flexible and possessing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills will drive the success of their role.

What you will be doing:

• Experience working with pediatric clients is required.
• Deliver compassionate client-centered care with specialized expertise in tracheostomy management ventilator support gastrostomy tube care and vital sign monitoring
• Administer medications and assist with personal care routines.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with parents and other caregivers.
• Maintain a strong commitment to community-based care.
• Prepare and maintain client reports and updates.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients through empathy consistency and trust.
• Demonstrate initiative and independence thriving with minimal supervision.
• Prioritize safety for both yourself and your clients adhering to best practices and protocols.

Skills needed for success:

• You are a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Exceptionally organized with strong time management skills and the ability to effectively manage your schedule.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal allowing you to connect clearly and confidently.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Minimum of two years experience in a community care or clinical/hospital setting is preferred.
• Currently certified as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Certified in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C).
• Able to provide a current Mask Fit test certification.
