Gas Compression Tech - Field

In this role,you’llput your skills into action by partnering directly with customers to keep their operations running at peak performance.You’lltroubleshoot and oversee repairs on a wide range of Caterpillar gas and diesel engines—both in the shop and out in the field—leveragingyour technical knowledge to build trust, solve challenges, and deliver the reliability our customers depend on. Your work will include:

• Field diagnosis and running repairs

• Largescale overhauls and rebuilds

• Componentreplacements

• Completing required paperwork andmaintainingclear customer communication

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification(Millwright and Automotive also accepted)

• Minimum2yearsexperienceasa JourneymanTechnician

• CAT G3600 experience is essential

• PreviousCAT general line experience including troubleshooting skills and a good understanding of CAT engine and powertrain components

• 2yearsexperienceon gas engines and compressors

• 2years experienceoperatinga service truck

• Must be able todemonstratebasic computer skills

• A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable
