Key Information:

• This position is located at our Fort Saskatchewan Office.
• Hours: Based on a 40-hour work week (8 hours a day, Monday - Friday) Over time as required.
• Salary is dependent on experience.
• Health benefits and vacation pay offered.

• Report to the Lead Workforce Coordinator.
• Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine qualifications for civil trades positions.
• Hire qualified civil trades personnel for multiple projects.
• Work closely with the Lead Workforce Coordinator and site supervision to understand recruitment needs and support candidate screening.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with construction teams, project management, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate pre-access testing and other site access requirements.
• Maintain accurate staffing records in the employee tracking system.
• Perform general administrative duties, including frequent phone and email communication and preparation of hiring documentation.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in full-cycle recruitment in a high-volume environment is preferred.
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
• Familiarity of the construction industry is required; civil construction or related experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Understanding of provincial employment legislation and trade union environments is an asset.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task, work independently, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Proficient English-speaking skills are required.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
