About the Role.
You’ll support MistyWest’s core people programs while learning how they’re designed, run, and scaled inside a growing consulting business. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance & Operations and leadership team, gaining hands-on exposure to performance management, compensation, recruiting, and culture-building.
If you’re curious, proactive, and love keeping things running smoothly this role is for you. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented HR role supporting MistyWest’s core people processes.
You will support the execution of:
- Performance review cycles
- OKR and KPI tracking
- Compensation benchmarking support
- Recruiting and hiring coordination
- Core HR operations and compliance
- People and culture initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Support performance review cycles (scheduling, documentation tracking, follow-ups)
- Maintain performance documentation and assist with calibration prep
- Assist with compensation benchmarking research and salary band updates
- Coordinate recruiting activities (job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, ATS updates)
- Help maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding experiences
- Assist with OKR and KPI tracking and documentation
- Contribute to team culture initiatives, retreats, workshops, Lunch & Learns, and celebrations
- Keep HR processes organized, documented, and compliant
Requirements
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, People Ops, Talent Acquisition
- Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail
- A friendly, confident communication style; you’re comfortable working with both teammates and leadership
- A genuine interest in learning compensation, performance management, and HR systems
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Working toward a CPHR designation
- Experience in a consulting, startup, or tech environment
- Exposure to recruiting coordination or HR administration
- Experience supporting team events or internal engagement initiatives
